Product concept

The Med Time Group offers you development expertise grounded in solid manufacturing know-how. The   starting-point is your idea, which we bring to perfect fruition. The kind of systematic product development creates transparency and lets you participate in all stages of product development.

From the initial idea to the series-ready product, we work closely with you to develop profitable solutions from plastics – tailored to your needs and fit for the future. Our aim is to bring innovative and high-quality products to market maturity: in the process, we keep an eye on quality compliance and patient-/operator-friendly usability, as well as the economic viability of the overall solution.

Design

Diagnostic applications, medical devices, pharmaceutical packaging and drug delivery systems are becoming more complex and require a holistic approach to monitoring over the entire product life cycle. What’s more, effective product implementation and its later impact on the market is decided as early as the design phase. We therefore apply the highest standards of excellence, which takes a wealth of requirements into account at an early stage: Design for Costs (DfC), Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Reliability/Process Stability (DfR) and Design for Quality (DfQ) – in the sense of increased product reliability and minimizing risk.

In all areas, we can draw on many years of experience in the successful design and implementation of sophisticated products and ensure our specialist teams are involved from the outset. This sets us apart from traditional design service providers.

Prototyping

During product development, specimens and prototypes are used to aid coordination in the various development phases:

Original materials:

  • Functional samples from soft tools
  • Series-ready prototypes from pre-production tools

Reference materials:

  • Digital design models
  • Conceptual samples from rapid prototyping
